Mini Bus Transfers ("the Company") accepts your ("the Customer") booking under the following terms and conditions.

Payment

Reservations will only be confirmed upon payment by the customer of deposit or full payment if booking within 2 weeks of departure.

Cancellation Charges

Where the Customer cancels his/her tour reservation, charges will be payable by the Customer as detailed below:

Please note: All Customers cancelling any tour reservation will be charged a standard fee of the deposit paid (20%) of the booking price to cover administration costs.

Day Tours / General Minibus Trips

  • For cancellations made more than 72 hours before departure, a full refund will be given less an administration fee of 20%.
  • For cancellations made less than 72 hours before departure, there will be no refund.
  • No refunds are offered if the passenger is late or cannot find the pick-up point.

Airport Transfers

For cancellations made outwith 2 weeks before departure, a cancellation fee of 20% will apply.

Cancellations within 2 weeks of departure will be charged 25% of the booking price.

If your flight is delayed, we will still arrange your transfer as booked. In certain circumstances, we may subcontract another company at no extra cost to the customer.

Arriving for Your Tour

Please arrive at the departure point 15 minutes before the published departure time. Coaches must depart on time and cannot wait for late arrivals.

Arrival in time and finding the departure point are the responsibility of the customer.

Ferry Crossing

Bookings involving ferry crossings must be costed separately. Please email sales@scottytours.com for a quotation.

Website Bookings

Scotty Tours have up to 48 hours from when you made your booking to confirm or cancel your booking.

Insurance

Whilst Scotty Tours maintains insurance meeting all statutory requirements, we strongly recommend that passengers hold comprehensive travel, medical and cancellation insurance.

Alterations / Alternatives

The Company reserves the right to alter tour itineraries at any time due to weather, traffic, availability or other circumstances beyond our control.

The Company also reserves the right to change the size and type of vehicle used.

Gift Vouchers

Must be redeemed within 60 days of purchase.

Other Operators / Third Parties

The Company accepts no liability for acts or omissions of third-party suppliers unless directly employed by the Company.

Tickets for other carriers are subject to their own terms and conditions.

Luggage

Day Tours: 1 small to medium-sized bag (max 10kg).

Airport Transfers / Multi-day Tours: 20kg suitcase + 10kg hand luggage per person.

Prices

Tour prices include transport and Driver-Guide only.

All other costs (entrance fees, cruises, food, accommodation, etc.) are payable separately by the customer.

Discounted rates may be available at selected attractions.

Published prices are valid until 31st December 2017.

Children

We regret that we cannot carry children under the age of 5 years on day tours.

Customer Conduct

  • Smoking is not permitted on any vehicle.
  • The Company reserves the right to refuse service to any person whose behaviour may cause offence or discomfort to others. Full cancellation charges will apply.

Force Majeure

The Company accepts no liability for loss or delays caused by events beyond our control including war, terrorism, weather, industrial disputes, or technical failures.
